  • Explore the cedar forests of Azrou and observe the Barbary macaques.
  • Contemplate the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunrise and sunset.
  • Camel ride through the desert and night in a traditional camp under the stars.
  • Visit the Ziz Valley and the impressive Todra Gorges.
  • Tour the Valley of Roses and the Skoura oasis.
  • Discover the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site.
  • Discover Ouarzazate and its film studios.
  • Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
  • Experience vibrant Marrakech: Jemaa el Fna Square, Majorelle Garden, and Koutoubia Mosque.

Day 1: Visit to Fez

Begin your adventure by exploring Fez with a local guide. Tour the medina, the tanneries, the El-Attarine Madrasa, the Quaraouiyine Mosque, and the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts. Stroll through the Royal Palace and the iconic Bab Boujloud gate, soaking up the city’s history, architecture, and culture.

Day 2: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga

Early departure from Fez to the Middle Atlas, with stops in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and in the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Continue the journey through Berber villages and mountainous landscapes to Erfoud and then Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi desert. In the evening, take a camel ride to the camp and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert and Nomadic Experience

Enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. Visit the village of Khamlia, home of Gnawa music, and learn about the life of nomads. Explore the desert, search for fossils, and admire ancient rock carvings. In the evening, enjoy another camel ride at sunset and spend the night at the camp with music and a bonfire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Leave the desert behind and head into southern Morocco, passing through Rissani and the Ziz Valley. Explore the impressive Todra Gorges and continue on to the Dades Valley, admiring its cliffs, valleys, and Berber villages. Overnight stay in the Dades area.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate

Travel through the aromatic Valley of Roses, enjoying the scenery and, if it is the season, the traditional harvest. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert” and famous for its film studios. Explore the city, its kasbahs, and souks, and enjoy the tranquility of the nearby desert.

Day: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Alto Atlas – Marrakech

Visit the Kasbah Taourirt and Atlas Studios. Continue on to the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site. Stroll through its narrow streets and discover its mud-brick architecture. Then, cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying panoramic views of valleys and Berber villages. Final descent to Marrakech, where the tour ends, leaving free time to explore the city at your own pace.
