The journey continues through the Valley of Roses and the breathtaking Dades and Todra Gorges, before reaching the golden dunes of the Sahara, where camel rides and a night under the stars await you.

In the north, you will explore the cultural richness of Fez, admire the blue streets of Chefchaouen, and pass through historic cities such as Meknes, Tangier, and Asilah. The tour ends in Casablanca, where tradition and modernity meet, and where the majestic Hassan II Mosque rises above the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades

After breakfast, the adventure begins as you cross the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, you will make stops to enjoy panoramic views of the valleys, Berber villages built on the hillsides, and terraced fields.

The tour continues to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has been the setting for countless films and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring its maze of narrow streets and adobe architecture, lunch at a nearby restaurant.

The journey then continues to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before heading to the Valley of Roses and the road of a thousand kasbahs. The day ends in Boumalne Dades, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a riad or local hotel in the valley.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

In the morning, follow the road that winds through the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and green oases. Soon you will reach the imposing Todra Gorges, with cliffs up to 300 meters high—an impressive natural spectacle and a favorite destination for climbers and hikers.

After lunch, the tour continues through palm groves and desert villages such as Tinjdad and Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to take you across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. At sunset, take in unforgettable views before arriving at the desert camp.

Dinner is served around the fire, accompanied by music and Berber stories under the immense starry sky. Night in comfortable tents in the middle of the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez

Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara, a magical experience. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 and begin the journey north.

The route crosses the Ziz Valley, lined with thousands of palm trees along the river, before reaching Midelt, a mountain town famous for its apple orchards. After lunch, continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.

Later, visit Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine architecture and orderly streets. Arrive in Fez at dusk and stay in a riad in the medina.

Day 4: Fez – Exploration

Guided Full day dedicated to exploring Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and spiritual capital. With a local guide, tour the medina (Fez el-Bali), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, colorful tanneries, and bustling souks where artisans keep traditions alive.

You will also visit the gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and several panoramic viewpoints of the city. Fez is a living museum of Moroccan history, architecture, and culture. Overnight stay in the riad.

Day 5: Fez – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, continue your journey north towards the Rif Mountains. The route takes you through rolling hills, fertile valleys, and traditional villages before arriving at charming Chefchaouen, known as the “Blue Pearl.”

This small town is famous for its blue-painted buildings, winding streets, and relaxed atmosphere. Free afternoon to stroll through the medina, visit craft shops, and enjoy the main square. Overnight stay in a charming riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier

Today’s route passes through Tetouan, known as the “White Dove,” with its Spanish-influenced architecture and cultural mix. After a brief visit, continue on to Tangier, the cosmopolitan port city where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet.

Tangier has been a crossroads of cultures for centuries, attracting artists, writers, and merchants. Upon arrival, you can explore the historic medina, stroll along the Corniche, or relax in a café facing the sea. Overnight in Tangier.

Day 7: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat

After breakfast, travel along the Atlantic coast to Asilah, a picturesque coastal town known for its white houses, colorful murals, and relaxed atmosphere. Take time to explore the medina, enjoy fresh seafood, and walk along the ramparts overlooking the ocean before continuing south.

The journey continues to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. There you will visit iconic sites such as the Kasbah of the Udayas, the unfinished Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 8: Rabat – Casablanca On the last day

Travel along the coastal road to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest and most modern city. The highlight is a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, built partially over the ocean and of great architectural beauty.
