Day 1: Marrakech → Tizi n’Tichka → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Valley of Roses → Dades Valley

Early departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy breathtaking views of valleys, mountain peaks, and traditional Berber villages along the way.

Stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, with its adobe architecture and historic streets that have served as a film set. After the visit, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with dishes such as tagine, couscous, and mint tea.

Continue on to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” famous for its film studios and cultural heritage. Then, drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses and the winding “Route of 1,001 Kasbahs” before arriving in the picturesque Dades Valley in the afternoon, where you will spend the night surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Erfoud → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, depart for Todra Gorge, near Tinghir. Walk through its oasis and admire the high cliffs that rise steeply on both sides, with palm groves and fertile lands adding a touch of green to the landscape.

Continue through the varied landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch in a small village to sample authentic Moroccan dishes. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where camels await for a sunset trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Settle into your desert camp for the night, enjoying Berber music, a delicious dinner, and the tranquility of the Sahara under a starry sky.

Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Alnif → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate

Wake up early to watch the sun rise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before returning by camel to the edge of the desert. Travel west with a stop in Rissani to explore its lively souk filled with Berber crafts, clothing, and products.

The route continues through Alnif and the Draa Valley, a green corridor of palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant before climbing the winding roads of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Ouarzazate at dusk after a day filled with desert and mountain landscapes.

Day 4: Ouarzazate → Film Studios → Tizi n’Tichka → Marrakech

After breakfast, visit one of the famous film studios in Ouarzazate to learn about the region’s cinematic history and explore its famous movie sets.

Return to Marrakech via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying spectacular views and stops along the way for lunch and to take your last photos of the desert and mountains. Arrive in Marrakech at dusk, concluding your 4-day adventure through the mountains, deserts, and cultural treasures of Morocco.
