Day 2: Exploring Fes – The spiritual heart of Morocco

After breakfast, depart on a guided tour of Fez, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the world. Visit Al Quaraouiyine University (founded in 859), the elegant Bou Inania Madrasa, and the artisan workshops where leather, brass, and mosaics are still made by hand. Stroll through the souks filled with spices and fabrics, admire the gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and a panoramic viewpoint over the medina. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 3: Fes → Volubilis → Moulay Idriss → Meknes → Chefchaouen

Today’s journey heads north. First stop is Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman site, famous for its mosaics. We continue to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a sacred pilgrimage city, before arriving in Meknes. Known as the “Versailles of Morocco,” Meknes is notable for its monumental Bab Mansour gate and the granaries of Sahrij Swani. In the afternoon, we travel through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the charming blue city. Overnight stay in a riad with views of the medina.

Day 4: Chefchaouen + Optional excursion to the Akchour Waterfalls

Free day in Chefchaouen, famous for its white and bluewashed houses, cobbled streets, and craft shops. Explore Outa el-Hammam Square, relax in its terrace cafés, and enjoy magical sunsets. Optionally, you can take an excursion to the Akchour Waterfalls, a hike through valleys and mountains to crystal-clear waterfalls. Return to Chefchaouen and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chefchaouen → Asilah → Rabat

Departure from the Rif Mountains to Asilah, a charming coastal town with artistic murals, ramparts, and white architecture. After strolling through its peaceful medina, continue to Rabat, the country’s capital. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, overlooking the Atlantic. Overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 6: Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech

After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, located facing the ocean. After lunch, travel south through fertile plains and traditional villages until you reach Marrakech in the afternoon. Settle into your riad and end the day in the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square, bustling with musicians, storytellers, and food stalls. Night in Marrakech.

Day 7: Discovering Marrakech – The Red City

Full day dedicated to Marrakech. Visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Stroll through the souks of the medina, where you’ll find carpets, spices, lamps, and handicrafts.
